Gun season is starting this weekend so I decided I better take one instead of watching them walk by. Nothing huge but I got 10 points for my team. My plans are to shoot a doe between December 19th and January 10th with my 45 auto handgun.

Been recovering from my 2016 deer season and also my poor old computer bit the dust while I was gone too...

Haven\'t figure out my wife\'s laptop yet so I can\'t post any pictures...

I only had to eat 5 tags this year since in the 11th hour I shot a big old fat doe I\'d been watching all season... She just showed up once to many times... I sent a picture to Dan so if he wants to post it he can but it doesn\'t make much difference to me... As for tag soup I can always use the same tags again next season as I\'ll go back to having 6 more to fill...

So I\'ll not eat any of them this year... :lol: :lol:

I counted the number of days I spent in my stand once or twice and finally came up with a total of 23 days... During those 23 days I saw a total of 1 legal buck... Saw him twice and he was so small I don\'t know how to even describe him...

So for team 1 I\'m sorry I couldn\'t do any better than I did but hopefully there\'s always next year....

Now if we only can get some flooding rain so I get back out with the ducks again... :mrgreen: :mg: :mrgreen: :mg:

I may tell the whole story later but half of those day were pure misery.

My week, Thanksgiving week, less than fun.. But at least I was there with
my family instead of them being with me in a hospital room...
