2016 trail camera picture thread

Good video Rudy!

Aaron, that is brutal. Nothing like the expectations of a game cam, only to realize you got two hours worth of pics.

Something isn\'t working with my videos ...

Let me try something:

Isn\'t it amazing how elk are intrigued by trail cams. Someone should invent TrailCam elk lure.

I\'m not having good luck with trail cams this year.
I checked 3 today.
My new Covert had 900 pics of bushed moving and a few elk.

Another was ripped off the tree by something. Camera didn\'t catch what did it.

I\'m glad next week is opener.

Here is a pic before the camera hit the ground

An elk and deer in the frame - my tree stand is in the tree in the background

Another spot not far away

There is a tree stand about 30 yds just beyond the elk

I hate moving limb, vines, bushes and tall grass.... I used to always carry something to clear the area directly in front of my cameras... I now have them set in the same location year in and year out and just have to do a little clearing each Sept when I deploy them....

Did it tear your camera up when whatever it was tore it off the tree????

Yep.
Broke the plastic bars right off the camera

If it didn\'t tear up the camera and it still works you could spend $40 or so and get a bear box to mount your camera in... I have all of mine in bear boxes now... I even leave to boxes out year round and just put the camera in them when I deploy...

I see a nice MD buck while checking trail cameras tho
