* Collapsible walking poles ( unbelievable in how they save your buttocks in many ways)
I have lots of "best gear"purchases over the years but for 2017 I switched to a floorless shelter and don't know that I'll ever return to a 3 season tent..... maybe if I'm in heavy snake country but for 95% of my applications floorless shelters are like a revelation to me.
