Broadheads

I have shot numerous broadheads in the past, mainly Montecs which I shot for about 6-7 years.  I switched to the Trophy Taker Terminal T-Locks this year.  Those things do damage, and they are extremely strong and sharp.  Unless something revolutionary hits the market, I'll be using these for years to come.

I couldn't get any fixed blades to tune in my matthews last season, I found out it was my arrow spine. Anyway to close to hunting season to switch arrows and re sight in so I went with a mechanical. Shot the ulmer edges, worked awesome shot my antelope at 24 yds, my elk at 65, and my deer at 94 in his bed. Punched through all 3. Really impressed.. This year I'm going back to fixed blades.. At least for elk. Best of luck to all

Try 100 grn magnum Slick Tricks. I switched to those last year and will not shoot anything else. Very accurate and my bull last year was dead in seconds, with a blood trail that looked like I dumped a five gallon bucket of blood.
X2..

Has anyone tried the kudu points? They look pretty sweet, 2 blade design. I feel the 2 blades will take off here in the next year or so.

Thanks for the rolling feedback everybody.  I ended up trying the Toxic.  Shot my bull a little high in the lungs @ 20 yards, clean pass through and he fell 40 yards later.  Was also able to take a couple of whitetail does and an antelope all with the Toxic.  The broadhead worked very well on all four.
