John, I have also hit a couple of animals too far back that were moving forward and slowly at that. Seems my mind doesn\'t work well enough at the shot to figure in a small lead. Of course the lead amount would be a guess as I have never practiced on a moving target anyway. Fortunately both were recovered but neither raised my confidence level!
