I didn't have anything mounted on my head, when it was a small bull I just set the bow down and pulled the gopro out and held it in my hand..

I've seen Go Pro's mounted on bow stabilizers and walking sticks. If you are to wear it on your head you need to mount it offset to the left or right (depending wether you are right/left handed)  if you want to catch the action as you are shooting.

Love our go pros for second angle shots, but its a must to have another camera as well

Yeah I like to have one mounted on the bow looking back at the hunter, or set on the ground. So I can get live shots of that versus setups..
But if its all you have they work to get kill shots too!
