I live too far away for all the hunting I'd like to do. I have to plan ahead for the time off. This year I only applied for NM. I'll buy points in WY and MT. Probably will end up hunting CO over the counter if I don't draw NM.

Always just done Colorado due to a work schedule that requires me to bid all of my vacations for the year in January. I have to know if I will draw so lottery does work for me. Thinking of starting points in Wyoming. I need to research other states that will work for my schedule. I love hunting whitetails at home in Iowa but would move west in a heartbeat!
