If you have a few seconds....

Very nice Dan..... I haven\'t ever visited that AT site but from what I have seen you have some phenominal pics! I wonder if you couldn\'t give somewhat fictitious locations and it would still help pattern the deer? I would be like you and be a bit nervous giving out that kind of sensitive info.
I\'m sure it\'s fine. I am paranoid though. I protect spots and info to the extreme. Man...what an idea though. Ok...I\'m going to start a contest. Everyone PM me their biggest bull pictures and locations (and when you are not going to be hunting there) and I will announce a winner next fall. LOL! Oh...and no sending locations down some hell hole where there is nothing but squirrels too!

See, I used to be SO open with my stuff, just not even thinking about it.
HEY GUYS, LOOK WHERE I SHOOT THIS MONSTER BUCK, I EVEN MADE A STAR ON A MAP FOR YOU
Not anymore. As I hunt more my lips become more and more sealed.

I\'ve had too many spots taken or tarnished now because of that.

SO now they have this magical system where I can input on a map where I took the picture of a buck and when and it\'ll pattern it for me.... :problem:

I guess we will see once I get my year long access pass to it.
I like doing it the old school way. I have a paper map printed out where I hunt and I have pins that I put in to pattern them :train:

I have been burned too...A LOT and it has made me more secretive over the years. I even hate posting trail cam pics sometimes....although that is silly. Nobody is going to recognize anything from that blade of grass...or stump. I sure wasn\'t trying to take anything away from your well deserved prize. I think it would be really cool to do both and see if you come up with similar findings. I\'m quite certain it could help you and your spots would not be compromised. Like I said it would be cool to do both methods for patterning and put cams out if there were differences to see which pattern was more correct. :dk:

I\'ll definitely give it a shot, but we will see. I am young, but I am NOT a fan of technology at all haha.
I want to do it the old fashioned way that has proved itself for years.
It would be cool to do what you said though. Run both and see if they come up with similar findings.
That would definitely help promote that company i guess if I was like \"it told me that this deer would walk by on this day\"
and then it did.

I guess we will see! :upthumb:

I\'ll be honest, I am more excited for the bow hunting swag and stuff!
Even if I just won the free broad heads I would be happy enough. I love free stuff :D

So subscribed.

I\'m very tight lipped now. I wish there was a way to meet some of you face to face. I\'d love to hunt with some of you bow hunters. I met cold at one of my honey spots and it didn\'t end well. That spot is burned. I know I didn\'t tell anyone else.

If bow hunting whitetail in Oklahoma ever interests you, then you know to ask.
It\'s an interesting hunt and some very good deer!
