Is anyone else excited for Wills bear hunt?

Counting the days. Yep shuttle T\'s and yep, I\'m a bit OCD when it comes to hunting prep . I think its a bit of a prereq to being dedicated to any craft.

Here\'s another shot of the big boar I ran into shed hunting. I think he was sick from overeating. First time I ever saw a big boar run up a tree. Made for some easy picture taking though

Thanks guys! I\'m packed and ready, just need to load the truck. I got a call from my buddy in MT the other day. He hauled his whole family down to ID this past weekend and had a chance to sit for a few hours. Bear down! Its a nice cinnamon with a darker head, 15 yard shot, 100 yard recovery. He said there were \"tons\" of pics and things look good for this weekend. His text of the bear pic said \"1 down, 3 to go!\". This should be fun :upthumb:

All packed and ready to roll. Colt is ready to skin a bear! Just one more day of work, take my better half out for dinner tonight, and I\'ll be on the road in the morning. I\'m having dinner with a friend in Missoula and then on to camp. Reports have me pretty confident that this will be exciting! I\'m planning on holding out for a decent boar, which, according to my friends, will likely involve passing a few smaller ones. I\'ll try to update this daily. I can\'t post pics from my phone cuz they have to be resized but maybe one of my Backtrak buds will post for me. I can\'t wait to be in the mountains, bow in hand!

En route. WYO\'s never been so green! First stop was Casper for gas and McD\'s. Only time I eat the stuff is huntn trips. Good Lord that trash is good! :upthumb: Beautiful road trip. Thankful to be able to make adventures like this on a blue collar budget. Life is Good!!
