Let's see some success pics guys!! I hope everyone has been as fortunate as I was this season. Got my first bull sept 6, solo here in Colorado. Called him into 23 yds and he busted me, he ran to 45 I got him stopped and connected. He ran 40 yds and piled up!

Nice bull! Shot ur elk's brother on 9/7/14. Calling from his wallow, this guy showed up and gave me a 25 yd broadside.  Came in silently with 2 cows.  Couldn't pass...

Nice elk guys. Blew my opportunity. Had him at 50 and couldn't tell if it was legal. Took 2 steps out of my last lane and saw it had 5 on each. Major bummer for me. I'll get him next weekend Lord willing. Great work guys.

Here's my father and my elk from this year.  Caught up with mine on the 9th of sept.  Bugled him up a ridge line and got him in to 10 yards, shot him at 25 yards after a close encounter!  My dad's bull was certainly larger but much less aggressive.  We found him grazing below us on a hillside and he came up t check out a mix of cow calls and bugling.  Very special hunt since I'd never called a bull up for my dad before that!

Nice bulls MT_BC! Went hunting with my partner this weekend and had multiple encounters on Sunday. Finally, on Monday I pulled this guy away from his cows and my partner made the 25 yd broadside shot.  Back out this weekend for my brother!

Super Awesome guys!!! Was out a week ago calling for a buddy in Colorado. Never heard a bugle but managed to call in 8 bulls and saw a total of 12. Nothing big enough for him presented a quality shot, so we came home empty handed. But I head back to Colorado Saturday for 9 days!!! Super pumped to see ur guy's pics! Hoping I can connect with a nice bull!!! Good luck to all who are still hunting and thanks to those who are sharing!!!

Bugled this bull in opening morning.
No field shots because I left the camera at home......
Troy, from Glacier Country Hunting calls helped me in the off season with my bugling. Sure payed off!
Euro mount done already laying next to my whitetail from last fall.

My 2014 Bull. After 45 mins of bugle battling, vying for good wind and tree raking from both of us, he finally came storming in to 10 yards. Frontal shot above the sternum, hit lungs and top of heart and passed through out the rear. The headless photo is kind of graphic...but this thread is called the 'Meat Pole' after all.
