New Gear

Been in Scotland and Ireland for 12 days and got home late Friday night. I was excited to see a box from Peax and Mystery Ranch in the garage.
Unboxed a new Solitude 4 with a half nest and new green headlight. Will be practice pitching it this week.
The MR box had a new Metcalf 50 in it. Been using a Eberlestock F1 for years. It’s a solid pack, but heavy. The Metcalf comes in at 5# empty. Got it packed and will start rucking with it Monday.
Looking forward to seeing how the new gear works and putting it to use this fall.

Just checking back in on the pack and tent.
The Solitude 4 turned out to be a great tent and the half nest was just what I was looking for. Easy setup and take down, plenty of room and zero issues.
The Metcalf is a good pack. It holds the perfect amount of gear, fits me very well and feels like a durable pack. My only issue is that with just a few items in it, it squeaks. A lot. When I get it home, going to see if I can remedy that issue.
