me and a buddy are saving some points we will have 6 points when we go in two years, we want to go there next year on a cow hunt. does anyone have any recommendations on where to start or units to look into. we don't care about the bears and wolves so we are open to anyplace. thanks for any help.

Preference point creep is alive and well for non-resin Wyoming.  You'll first need to decide if you're going enter the regular preference point draw or pay the extra $400+ and enter the special draw.  Depending on which route you take, I'd download the applicable non-res preference point draw report from the G&F and remove from consideration any area that requires more than 6 points to draw and go from there.
