Paper Tuning Question

Tip of the day: When grouping arrows. Shoot the broad head first. Then the field tip.

When it\'s all good and the Stars have aligned for you and your bow. Broadheads are NOT forgiving on the near robin hoods.

Here is the slow motion video Cliff mentioned.
And at the end, you can see what happens when you shoot an under-spined arrow

Interesting video Bill. I do have to disagree with him a little bit though. Paper tuning, to me, should still be necessary. If you aren\'t getting a bullet hole in the paper and you are getting a tear, that means something isn\'t right and the arrow is not flying straight out from your bow. For me, it pointed out a flaw in my grip. I\'m sure it could do the same for others, or point out that something with the bow needs to be adjusted. The bottom line, at least in my eyes, is that you aren\'t going to shoot consistent if the arrow isn\'t flying straight.

I like paper tuning. It\'s the best jumping off point for broad head tuning. If a bow won\'t shoot a bullet hole at the shop, I\'m not buying it. I\'m my experience, if it shoots a clean hole, perfect broadhead flight isn\'t that far off.
