Two Weeks to get Colorado Apps In!

Done. I\'m in for everything. Fingers crossed! Without any lucky draws I should end up with at least 4 CO tags this year. I\'d be glad to return them if I draw any of the other 23 western states big game tags I put in for :upthumb:

Dang Will did you have to sell your house to pay for them all.

Done ... Deer and Elk. I should think about burning these someday.
How many points are you at John? Do you have plans in place to redeem them?

Lol! I budget about $600 for draws. Everything in AZ, UT, NM, CO, WY, IA can be had for about that. Now if I draw a couple big tags in one season I may need to visit a marriage counselor :)

Oh, that\'s not too bad. So other states must just have an application fee they collect initially? Colorado drives me nuts that you have to pay everything up front, even if you are just applying for preference points.

Will,
Only 600? I need to talk to you because I must be doing something wrong.
$380 to Colorado
$600 to New Mexico
$40 to Kentucky
$5 to Oklahoma
$200 WY
$50 Iowa
$5 Texas
$200 Idaho

:(

Sorry to mislead. Money down is closer to 3k. Total cost near the $600 mark after I miss and get reimbursed

Dang...and my wife things my $400 is bad, and that includes the $254 moose tag that will probably be coming back to me.

Was just getting ready to comment on my tags then saw Will\'s $3K post!

Got all ours in just now with exception of deer(got a little more research to do this weekend).

Unit 2 CO archery elk is the one that I\'ll lose sleep over between now and the drawing. Hoping with 20 points I\'ll draw. \"Should\" but there are \'sleepers\' for 2 and 201 so never really know how many will put in until the results are posted. On another forum, one guy says he knows 6 hunters with 20 points who are serious about putting in this fall for Unit 2. I\'m one of those 6 I believe.

Wife should draw an antelope rifle buck tag and looking for a possible rifle whitetail buck tag too.

I\'m also putting in for a doe antelope rifle tag where Sandy\'s hunting but doubt I\'ll draw it. Going to put in for a doe whitetail too once I find a place this weekend.

Good luck everyone!

sent mine in for pp number 3 on moose. man do i wish mine was still 254. but, next year im in the game.

This reminded me to get my Maine moose application in too.... I think I am right there with you, Will.

All set here.

Elk/Deer/Antelope Pref Points for my daughter

Moose, Deer tags and elk, antelope PP for Cole

Elk/Deer PPs for me and Antelope tag coming my way!

DONE!

since I\'m the techno guy in our group, I just went thru the process for me, my dad, my uncle, a cousin, a buddy and my boy! (boy is just getting PP\'s for the 2018 trip).

this is a rifle hunt year for us, so I\'m really looking forward to it. We\'ll have several new guys in camp too. Ought to be a great year in elk camp (arent they all??)

also just to brag a bit o.... I swam a full mile for the first time in my life last week at 42. I\'m presently training for another sprint triathalon in May, and am seriously considering an Olympic Tri this Sept. (1 mile swim, 26 mile bike, 6.2 mile run).
