Upgrading your bow

I used to use the same bow for years and years. The past decade I try to upgrade at most once every 3 years. Most times I just pick up a 'newer' used bow that I haven't used yet, but this year I am shooting and the new PSE DNA and I love it. First brand new bow in over 10 years.

I have looked through the classifieds for used bows in my area, used bows may be reduced somewhat in price, but they seem overpriced for a bow that doesn't have a warranty and probably needs new strings and cables.
I really like Hoyt, I have never had to have any warranty work done, but hoyts' warranty  is only to the original owner.
Maybe that is not really an issue.

Have been shooting my alphamax 32 for 3 years and plan on going for another 5 to 7 years.  I think every year is great if you can afford it but its also good to be confident in your equipment and no better way to do that than keep shooting your trusty gear.
