I have looked at the VPA several times and like those a lot. The Cutthroats look just as good. I am shooting the 250gr Grizzly single bevel this year. I haven't taken an elk with that broadhead yet but hopes are high.
Switched to the VPA heads this year. Only animal taken so far is a WT buck. Not much of a blood trail, but he only went 40 yards.
I like the idea that I can shoot a head, touch it up and hunt with the EXACT same head. Used to shoot the original Snuffer and had great luck with it. Out of a dozen heads, they all spin true on my FMJ arrows.
Have a set of 2x8 diamond stones that make sharpening a snap.
I believe I?ve found my forever heads.
