What did you do today....

Monday morning chest workout, core, and abs complete!
Tonight is a mile and a half job then sprints..... :think:
 
Yesterday I mounted a bow holder on one of my tree stands.
Organized my screw-in tree steps and later took a Harley ride

mtn biked hills last night. I am thinking I need to regear this cross bike to mtn bike gears....

I did 3 miles of off road biking yesterday :upthumb:

I think the mountain biking hills does more for me than the hiking with a pack. It makes my legs tight and burn with a big hill. Loose sand is a killer workout. I had to walk through some of it. I think it would have been rough with a dirt bike.

Stairmaster today for an hour to sweat out the nasty toxins that invaded my body on Saturday thus resulting in the above mentioned \"break\"!!

Scouting property Saturday that we\'ll be elk hunting. Anxious to pull SD cards from cameras to see what\'s out there early season.

zpd, it\'s so that I\'ll be ready for those afternoon siesta\'s in the mountains! Yes, I know, you can\'t kill anything while napping but my body needs a little rest after getting up around 4 am and hiking several miles.
 
It is 103 degree in Medford right now. I just did an 8.25 mile run. Ok....so I chickened out and did it indoors on the tmill. lol But still 8 isn\'t terribly shabby.

100 here. At the vet with wife\'s cat. Wound care.

Afterwards I\'m gonna headlamp a run at dusk. Hopes this works. Too hot now. Sucks cuz I\'m gonna be starving by then.

You dont want to be running on an empty stomach!
We don\'t need you passing out in the middle of nowhere.
 
Thanks guys....that\'s the longest I\'ve gone in like 20 years. I am putting out my best effort this year. Hopefully it pays off.
Btw...Brad, I saw your tree stand and new bow holder. That is a bit low don\'t you think? :dk:

THAT SUCKED!!

i havent poured sweat like that in a long time. thank goodness for ice water and a big bowl of icy cold watermelon. i feel okay!!

the run was not fun. amazing how the heat sucks energy. legs are tired, but i feel pretty good considering.
