What did you do today....

Ouch!

For UTI, she can try cranberry juice. I take cranberry capsules with me while camping to prevent these issues. I don\'t like cranberry juice.

After the UTI clears up and she is off any meds for it, she can try these for stomach: eating ginger or drinking ginger tea or ginger ale.

Modern medicine can be a disappointment.

We just got her into the cranberry capsules too, but now I will definitely go look into some ginger products. Thank you!

I just bought some dried sugared ginger the other day. I was curious to what it would taste like. it was very interesting.... would I buy it again, no.

I don\'t do the ginger daily. I use ginger when I start to get a virus or a stomach thing happens. I was told to not take ginger if I get a secondary infection (bacterial infection). I have no idea why.

Acupuncture may help for the stomach thing. I go for other reasons. It has helped me for many things including severe pain due to fibroids. I was skeptical until it solved the fibroid pain. One summer, I skipped it for 3-4 months which made my September difficult. Now, I don\'t skip months.

I did the incline this morning. I forgot to take motrin for my inflamed knees. I had to hike down Barr trail rather than run down.

that is the new block? how do you like it?

friday, i ran six.

sat, i ran 3 maybe 3.5.
then i went to a bbq. there was a swimming pool. i didnt want to jump in because there were maybe a million, million and a half kids in the pool. but it was hot, so in i went. my grouchy old man ass had a great time!! kids love me for some strange reason. i\'m not super cool to them. one tiny 5 year old girl. natalie. we hit it off!! she was so brave. she would latch onto my neck and ride me down to the bottom of the deep end. i would lay flat and she hang on..i go up for air..and she screams, \"let\'s do that again!!!\" other kids tried, but they all bailed on the decent. natalie was the only one that could hold her breath the longest. she might be the cutest little girl that i have seen in my whole life.. her mom jumped into the pool..wearing..nevermind..i got out and sat next to my wife. haha..it was the right thing to do.

back to fitness..since i have been running..i was blown away by how long i could hold my breath!!! things changed with my body!! i keep this up and i might finally take up my friends invite to dive for abalone..and free dive spear fish. they say i need a two minute dive..sheesh.

cliff, I like the block. the arrows pull out so much easier than my buddies block. his is a few years old though.

Surgery is complete. Now starts recovery time so I can get back into elk shape. I already feel ready for the year, but I can always get in BETTER shape.

Keeping up with Dan is like trying to keep up with a mountain goat....

shot my bow today!! about 10 shots. 20 yards in my backyard.

i can still shoot! phew! my last four arrows went into four nickel sized white dots. (to bad deer are not black with white dots)
my bow just fits me so well that my anchor is exactly the same everytime..no matter how long before cold shots.
i just need to pay attention to my trigger pull and i am good to go. going to the range this weekend for the \"long ball\".

back tension trigger pull with my wrist release has been a game changer for me.

putting on my running shoes now :(

Maybe I should have waited until after the season to get my toe done.
I woke up this morning feeling great, but MANNNNN IS IT painful right now.
That bone is SORE. I just hope it passes quick so I can hit the gym!!!!!!!

55 days is going to come up fast

Dan, I\'m not too worried about you  Seriously though, I hope it heals up quick for you.

Put over 4 miles on the boots in a few hours in the woods today. Just over 10k in elevation and the body felt good!

Eye exam this morning. Think that\'ll help?

Edit:

Well, I was right ... my eyes are getting worse. Sounds like new glasses and a surgical consultation are in order.

I sure wish I had taken care of this a little sooner, but one way or another my vision will be (some) better by September.
