What did you do today....

Felt great today for the first time in a long time.
I did a small workout, shot my bow, and TOMORROW IS A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT.
It should be my go ahead to walk and be normal again :upthumb:

Another small workout done this morning (felt great)
Foot appointment at 11 and then shooting my bow later!

Took my son over to the LAX fields last night. We threw, shot, then ran the track, 1 mile. I let him go shoot on goal while I flipped the big tractor tire and ran 50 yard sprints. I quit when I felt like I was going to throw up.

My appointment went somewhat well.

The doctor was please with my toe progress and then put some magical stuff on it (that vets use on horses) that is supposed to help it the rest of the day. I am down to having just a bandaid on it, no more dressing with wraps.

So that means I can start walking again. I\'ll walk normal for a few days, then increase distance, then in a few weeks add some weight. I don\'t think I\'ll run much before my hunt.

The one thing I am a TINY bit worried about is a POTENTIAL infection.

I pointed it out and asked if it was from the bandage being wrapped to right or something and he said it\'s possible, or a superficial infection, so he gave me some more meds and told me to watch it.

I hope its ok!

Shot the bow tonight too.

Did your doc sniff your foot?

He did not and I think he would have died if he had.

I have to wrap a bag around it when I shower and can only clean my foot with baby wipes.

One time a doc sniffed my foot. He then let my hot ass friend who was a resident for him sniff as well. The looked at me and I must have had a horrified look on my face. They laughed at me and said the do it all the time to smell for infection.

It was odd. Haha.

Two hours of lacrosse last night with minimal breaks. Exhausting, but the cardio is getting to be in top notch condition!

i did put in some fresh headlamp batteries..maybe a late evening jog into the dark might be in order. i hate laying off two days in a row.

I am very impressed.

I am from Baltimore. It took a long time before Lacrosse made it out West. IMO, Men\'s Lacrosse is harder than football or soccer. My brother ruined both his knees playing lacrosse. Nice to see they now broadcast Lacrosse games. The Iroquois invented the game. In those days, it was a very bloody sport. University of Denver now gives Maryland a run for its money now. DU won the 2015 NCAA Title. Wildest college party I ever attended was a Johns Hopkins Men\'s Lacrosse team party.

I lost 2.5 lbs during my liquid dieting. I am now at my preseason normal weight. Since I lose 3-7 lbs in September, I do not want to lose more weight.

I spent today eating. :D I\'ll do more eating tonight at a Tapas restaurant...yummy. I took 3 days off from exercise for a medical procedure. Back at it tomorrow.

Well, this is just pick up games at a local park but it is a great sport. My son has been playing for three years now and it is fun to get out and have some fun wit him. However, I am sitting here icing my knee as I twisted it badly last night. Heard two distinct pops, one on the inside and one on the outside. Feels like crap. I\'m not sure which i\'m more disappointed in, missing Thursday night\'s lax games or the fact I am going to be hobbling while scouting this weekend.

Lark, I hope you feel better. You could try a knee brace. I used one for my left knee when I still did downhill skiing. It will help stabilize the knee if you go scouting. Grab some trekking poles too.

With CO opening day less than 30 days away, perhaps aggressive sports need to be avoided :!:

Tonight, Lou, Aaron Johnson and I shot 3D League.
A good time, made plans for a \'pre-hunt\' party at my house in 3 weeks.
Ya All are most welcome to attend!
