Some states require a .243 or larger. The .223 might not be legal. Check the hunting laws first.

That\'s a good idea... I\'ve used neoprene slings for a long time on all my guns... Just this year have I finally got them on all the guns I use so I don\'t have to swap them out from time to time...

We got it dialed in tonight. Gun shoot lights out but the trigger is heavy. If they would have had an Axis II I would have gotten it due to the adjustable trigger. With a little lighter trigger this thing would be perfect.

Sorry for not updating this quicker. Shot was 80-100 yards and about a 40-50 yard recovery. Riley did awesome and I cant tell you how proud I am of her.

It was an awesome hunt and it reminds me why I started hunting, because it is fun.
