Great job Riley [and dad] !

Just one of many years of memories right there

Did she get some blood stripes on her cheeks upon field dressing? :)

Actually she didn\'t. We had a difficult extraction that required my Ranger and a winch plus a 2 hr drive. I was just trying to get out of there. But....since you mentioned it, she is getting it on the next one.

I am proud of her on so many levels. She is working hard in school, basketball and her physique. She has dropped numerous pounds from being active and eating better. She tried on a pair of jeans that her mother bought her that was 2 sizes too small for her in July. They fit today. Now that basketball is over she can get back into the gym with me.

For anyone that might be looking into this little rifle, my one tip would be to purchase the Axis II. The Axis II has the accutrigger and an upgraded weaver scope for $100 or less increase in price. The trigger alone is definitely worth that. I wasn\'t concerned about the trigger being a little heavy as this was a short range youth hunting gun but the trigger is really heavy. Like shotgun trigger heavy. There are many mods and a few replacement triggers available but adding a Timney trigger will cost you $100. I have a trigger spring coming that will take the trigger to 3.5-4 lbs which will be perfect. Of course I will bump test and rack the bolt as hard as possible to make sure it is safe but the trigger is just too heavy currently.
