Well somehow I managed to draw a WY 118 elk tag. Never bowhunted or even rifle hunted elk inthe desert before. I have always gone to the mountains and timber. I plan on giving it hell with my bow and use the rifle later if needed. Any advice on how to approach a hunt in the desert for elk...

Any reviews / opinions on the hunt gps maps?? Looks like a good tool. Really looking at getting them. Any recommendations on whats preferred for a GPS unit? I like the one I have but it doesn't have the ability to use the map system.
