2017 Other Big Game meat pole

I have a full freezer already, so theoretically I should hold out for something bigger,

haha I'm just saying that I can't even kid myself.... I can pretend like I'm going to hold out for a monster on these trips, but I'll end up shooting the first tasty buck I see.  :haha: :haha: :haha:

I've been so busy I forgot I didn't post the buck I killed last week.

Last Wednesday I decided to hit the desert for a quick after work hunt. I ended up finding this guy at last light, and by the time I had him back to the truck I managed to cover over 7 miles.

Got him out in one trip. Wasn't the funnest thing I've done, but I didn't die.

Made my first attempt at antelope smoked summer sausage yesterday.

Wow did it turn out awesome

My wife and I took the kids with us last weekend. She drew a controlled hunt tag in SW ID and I spent many days and lots of miles scouting for her. I found quite a few decent bucks, and at least 2 giants.

Having the kids with us was a little more challenging than I thought it would be, but we were able to get it done quickly.
