Can I go along? The Adventures of Colt the Knife...

Colt just arrived in Colorado. I may just have time to take him to Nebraska turkey huntn before we head to Idaho in June for bears!
 
This is great!
A few months ago, I sent Colt off to Texas, went to California, kansas via new mexico and now it\'s back less than a mile from my house!
 
I talked to Will last week and he said he will post a pic on this thread and send Colt off to the next guy.
Who is hunting antelope in August?
 
Alright, who\'s next? I\'d be glad to swing Colt by one of my neighbors houses (Brad, Lou, Aaron) or ship him off to whoever. I\'ve got quite a few tags this season myself and he seems to like me :) . Let me know what ya want to see Colt skin next and he\'ll be off to wherever. Its some life this knife leads!

Great pic of Colt and the bear!

Im not sure who is going hunting next, but on Aug 15th I will be filming Deertick\'s antelope hunt up in WY.

Anyone else want Colt before that?
 
That bear looks bigger and bigger! Did you taste it yet? Any bear lard biscuits? You know the ones the cardiologist endorsed.

I\'ve put up a double tree stand on the pig property...my Daughter is home on Recruiter Assistance Leave for a Month.

Pigs are still coming in intermittently, plus bow Season for deer starts in about 3 weeks.

Since Colt luck seems to (sometimes) skip a hunt...I\'ll take one for the team. I\'d be honored to host Colt, and therefore pass off the true luck to someone right before elk Season!
 
OK, sounds like Colt has found a new adventure :)

The pig hunt on Saturday was a bust...no visitors :dk:

Blacktail bow Season opens this weekend...I\'ve got a couple of spots in mind. If you\'ll give me a couple weeks, hopefully Colt and I can get it done...then someone needs to get him before the elk opener. Let me know if you are interested.

I suggest that Colt goes back to Dan for their NM elk hunt after Jeff gets through with it! Then, if Dan makes any of his post-elk hunts with others, he can just take it with him and personally hand it off. Granted, we may need it back come November for our OK deer hunt!

Sounds good to me...Dan, if you are in agreement...send me a PM with your shipping info and hunt dates. I\'ll make sure Colt gets there.
 
Vthokee and I will be out in NM elk land Sept 1-14th, but we don\'t expect it to last that long.

We are hoping for an early tag out.


Then we could send it off to someone else.


OR

Come November, you are looking at Russ, Vthokee and I heading out to OKLAHOMA for a whitetail fest.


So if someone else wants the colt for elk season, by all means take it and we can take it for Nov.

If not, feel free to send it for the NM elk hunt.
