1. I carry 6 arrows in my quiver
2. thats how many spots my quiver has
3. 1 practice broadhead that can be used for Small Game

Typically I carry 6 arrows.
One of them is a small game point and the other 5 are broad heads. I carry so many just in case I fall on my bow and brake any interest the back country, hopefully at least a few survive .

1. How many arrows do you typically carry in your quiver?
2. Why did you decide on that amount?
3. Do you carry any small game arrows or are they all for elk?

I carry 6 arrows because that's how many holes are in the quiver that came on my bow  :upthumb:

I usually carry one arrow with a judo point on it, then I proceed to lose that arrow shooting at grouse.  By only carrying one judo point at a time I limit the number of arrows I lose per day  :-D

1. 5 arrows

2. Just seems like the not too few but not too many fit range. Seems like more than that gets too bulky.

3. All elk. But there aren?t many grouse here ;)

I carry 5 arrows

That is what my quiver holds

I carry 4 broadheads and 1 game arrow because grouse taste good too  :-D

Usually carry 5 arrows. Settled on 5 because I'd rather be prepared when I'm a few miles back haha. I don't carry a small game tip but have considered it.

I carry 5 arrows minimum hunting Iowa but on a western back country hunt I prefer 6 or 7. On whitetail hunts I generally have a few doe tags so I don't want to be down to 1 or 2 when a mature buck shows up. On a backcountry hunt too much can go wrong like a fall or arrow loss so I want plenty. I rarely carry anything for small game.

4 arrows

3 broad head
1 SMALL GAME
I went with 4 because if I need any more than that I probably shouldn?t be sailing arrows.

I have a 6 arrow quiver that came with my 75th anniversary Hoyt 2007. I carry 4 for elk/ deer. Two for grouse. These amounts seemed like a good ratio. I ordered the new rx3 ultra the other day.  This quiver would be an excellent addition to the new bow!

I am still using an old 7-arrow quiver and like having the options. I typically carry 4-5 broad heads and 1-2 small game arrows. If I miss and break or lose arrows out of the quiver, I have the option to make another broad head or small game arrow. Arrows are light weight and it?s not where I want to reduce weight for my system.

5 arrows
I always like to have a few extra cuz you never know what is going to happen
I carry 3 broad heads and 2 for small game

1. Five arrows in the quiver

2. Happy medium. Enough to allow an extra opportunity, but not adding the extra weight and bulk.

3. Usually start the hunt with three arrows for elk/deer and two for small game. I also have a couple extra broadheads on me or at camp in case I need another arrow.

I try to bring extra arrows to camp to practice with. I can also cycle them in if I should lose any.

I will carry five because that's the capacity I have. I think I will carry one or two with a judo point for small game. I am excited this will be my first year archery hunting

I carry 5 because that is what I have currently.
Not too few but not too heavy
4 for elk. 1 for small game.

1. Three arrow tight spot
2. Weight savings
3. Wanting to go up to a five arrow for that purpose. Found myself wanting a small game point on hand on several occasions. Especially on those days the elk weren't showing up but grouse were everywhere.

I carry 5 arrows

We have alot of grouse 3 big game arrows 2 judo points

Yes, I shoot alot of grouse on my hunting trips

I usually carry 4 arrows with broadheads and one judo point for stump shooting and grouse hunting I have a few extra arrows back in camp with broadheads and a couple with judo points I guess I carry the 5 arrows is because that is what my last 4 or 5 arrow quivers have offered so that is what I have adapted to carrying 5 arrows.
