Free Gear Friday!!!

I usually carry five arrows with me mainly because that?s what my quiver could carry, typically I just carry arrows for elk but I have carried arrows for small game before depending on where I?m going.

I carry 5 broadhead tipped arrows and one judo point in my 6 arrow quiver. The judo point is for stump shooting and grouse!

I carry 5 broad heads. I like 5 cause 3 is just to few in my mind and I like to save weight. I don?t carry small game heads cause I don?t see many grouse where I hunt.

I typically would go out with 6 because that's what my old quiver would hold.

All of them had broadheads on them but im going to change that up this year. I've had opportunities to take smaller game but never had the right equipment for it.

I usually have either a 5 or 6 arrow quiver. I always like to have 4 broadhead arrows and the rest judo tipped. Best of both worlds.

I usually carry 3 arrows, I usually pack in pretty far and I've never needed more than that and I use the same arrows and broadheads for Elk as I do for deer

6 arrow quiver. I use 6 because I have had arrows fall from my quiver while pursuing elk. Also, have had multiple shots on 2 occasions. Have not used small game tips

I carry 5 Arrows, prefer 6
The current quiver I have is a 5 because it fit the best on the bow.
I always carry a small game arrow, never know when a grouse is what's for dinner! Shot 4 last season.  :dance2:

:train: :D  I typically carry 5 arrows in my quiver simply because it feels right. Recently I have added a small game point to my 5th arrow instead of all broadheads.

For elk hunting I carry 4 arrows with broadheads, my quiver can hold 5 but like the balance of 4.. Do not get the small game license so no need for small game points.

I carry 5 , because that?s all the quiver I have will fit. Thinking about 7 to add a small game arrow, I currently rock 5 broadheads for elk

1. 5 arrows
2. Current quiver holds 5, always safe to have extra
3. Not specific for small fame but usually carry iron will broadheads or xrage

1. 5 arrows
2. I feel it?s perfect, 7 too many, 3 not enough if carrying small game arrow for grouse.
3. Yes I carry one arrow specifically for grouse or other small game

Five, because it?s a good balance of enough arrows and weight.  If I?ve shot five times, there has to be plenty of meat to pack back to the truck where more arrows exist or something is seriously wrong with my aim.  Lol.  Small game arrow is always one of the five, unless I?m packing in where Its too much hassle to take care of the meat and still hunt elk.

1. 5 Arrows
2. I feel it's the right amount and weight
3. I carry 1 small game broadhead just in case a grouse presents itself

I typically carry 5 in the elk woods and 3 if I?m hunting whitetail from my treestand. In the elk woods I?m a lot farther from my truck so the more I can carry the better. Whitetail hunting I?m normally no more than half a mile from my truck. Never carry small game heads.

4
That is the amount my bow holds.
All for ELK, but have been known to fling a broad head at grouse!!

1. How many arrows do you typically carry in your quiver? 5

2. Why did you decide on that amount? That's all my quiver can handle

3. Do you carry any small game arrows or are they all for elk? 4 for elk, and 1 for grouse.

I typically have 4-5 in my quiver. If it takes more than two then I need more practice I?d say! It?s my first trip to colorado for an archery elk hunt this year...so I may be wrong. I plan to have one small game arrow ready for grouse.

1.  Carry 5 arrows
2. Originally that?s what my quiver held. Now I like that amount for the weight balance
3. 1 of the 5 is a judo point for Grouse.
