Rifle is in.... now we begin....

Never ever thought about painting/camo on my synthetic stock but may be changing my mind! Pretty darn cool!

On a side note Dan, how about we have a very friendly rifle competition later this year? Random thoughts: .270 caliber or larger, rifle used for hunting(or soon will be), 100 yards, best 3 shot group. Could go further and say with \'sled\' or without. My with \'sled\' shots obviously group much better than my bipod/backpack shots.

No prizes other than bragging rights! :)

Bill, that paint job is fantastic!!!!
If I do it, I want to do it right like that.

Russ, deal!!!!!

Cliff.... Text message coming.

More toys showed up.

The kitchen is as pretty as the rifle.

Hope my wife doesn\'t see your pictures. She\'s been wanting granite counter tops!

i want quartz countertops!!

but my \"almost mine\" house has great granite..i dont think the conversation about tearing out the perfectly good granite for quartz will fly well with the wife.

:)

great rifle..i love the Picitinny rail options for scopes now. i want a scout style rifle. with the exaggerated scope forward look. light..fast, packable. my long range shooting days are long gone. i just want to tip animals over.

Oh wow.
Tikka? Drool
Left-handed? DROOL
After years of shooting a friend\'s RH bolt-action rifles, I finally got my own LH rifle. I swear it\'s equipped with a ghost RH bolt--because I keep reaching over for it!
Looks like you have a great setup...enjoy!

I\'m happy....

that scope is riding on that rifle perfectly. i dont like a lot of gap between the front and the rifle.

did you pull the bolt and peek down the barrel and \"bore sight\" it? it\'s crazy to me how close the rifle hits when you do that.

edit: nevermind. its way easier to do that when the rifle is nestled down in a bunch of sandbags..or gun viced (at the range)

He\'s off scouting today. I mounted it for him on Thursday and I don\'t think it\'s been bore sighted or shot just yet but I know he was trying to shoot this weekend. I\'m sure he\'ll chime in when he gets back from his elk scout.

I bore sighted mine from the kitchen island looking through a window at my fence post 100 yards away. It was within 2\". Amazing how close it gets.

lol right now it\'s holding my floor down :D

I just haven\'t had time to escape to a range yet!!!!!
Hopefully next weekend because I\'ll be in some mountains again this weekend. :upthumb:
