So we made our way back to the truck and called it a good day.
About 5 miles on the boots and quality time

Tim,
The guy who told me about there area mentioned that there were lots of cats. It is an area where the CPW does some tagging and monitoring and they told him he was on camera once and there was a cat following him.
To be honest I was a bit more concerned with coming upon a bear since spring is here and they are out and about, hungry and not very pleasant
I was carrying my 9mm for defense of any type of critter

Looks like a great day ... that\'s a good shed haul, there. The skull is great.

Too much snow here to get out and look -- so it\'s great to see someone out and about.

Well the woods didn\'t give up any antlers today.
Some really nice country tho
Saw some deer and a big Ol cinnamon bear

Didn\'t get a pic of the bear, but did solve a very old mystery.

Exciting shed hunt the other day, including several bluff charges from a bear with a cub

She came to about 15-20 yards 4 times popping her jaws. I put my sweatshirt on a shed antler and back slowly away. It got the blood pumping :shock: I got some pretty decent photos but site won\'t let me add the file? Oh well, found some sheds too!
