Just finished up an arm workout and some core.
I think I slept well last night, but I am hurting, so today is a coffee day :upthumb: :upthumb: :upthumb:



Who am I kidding, everyday is a coffee day :D
 
ended up doing another half hour cardio workout of the wifes, which included mtn climbers and burpees last night....
 
you guys wont need bows or rifles. just run the elk down, trip them, put them in a choke hold until they black out.

So, just finished another evening run, push ups, sit ups, and shot my bow!


My bow string will be broken in properly in no time and I guess I\'ll be in shape for my hunt. ;)

Just finished a nice shoulder workout.

Tonight will be a light jog, then sprints, abs, core, and more shooting.

I need to step my game up for the next few weeks because I might be having something removed from my toe end of the month and I am worried that I will have to have a few days of rest/downtime.
 
Back to workouts ... was \"off\" for a long weekend of meetings and travel. Thankfully, the weight didn\'t go up even though my nutrition went to Hell.

Overall, though, a successful trip ... and came away with a potential turkey spot for the spring.

They are going to have to cut my toe nail off and remove something. (Wart or some type of growth)
It won\'t be too much downtime and rest time is still good for overall growth. A few days off will be some good healing time!

So I will train my butt off up until it gets removed and maybe take 4 to 5 days off and just eat real well during that time off. Keep my protein levels high.

mowed the weeds in the horse pasture and then went on a 6.5 mile break in bike ride with the wifes new/used mtn bike.
 
this morning was a much needed day off from lifting.

I\'m treating myself to a nice healthy breakfast, easy day at work, then a 3 mile jog tonight, plus core :upthumb:
 
Did a bit of shooting today. Slapping arrows at 20 is fun (I don\'t normally shoot at the same spot at 20....to expensive) but I peed my pants a little slapping two arrows at 100. I didn\'t even mind! lol

Thanks Jer. I figured I better be able to do that if I\'m in the woods with you this year....if I want to get that big one like you did.
I got some sour looks at the public range though shooting 30 yards in front of that 100 yard target. lol In all seriousness I find it very fun at long distances because I don\'t psych myself out. I shoot groups of 4 and I am CONSTANTLY throwing number 4 when I have the first 3 in the money. But at 100 I have no clue where I hit so I just concentrate on what I am supposed to be doing at let it fly. Also my follow through is much better. I hold until the arrow hits. Which at 100 is about 10 minutes with how slow my arrows are going. :crazy:
