    Trail running to get in shape.

    This year I'm going to focus more on trail running, especially trails with a lot of elevation (certainly easy to do here in Colorado.)  It really is a great workout and I find that I'm way more motivated to hit the trails than I am to just pound the pavement.

    Who practices at long distances?

    We've got a range at my dad's office and can shoot out to 70 yards which is great practice.  When I was deer hunting this year we were shooting at hay bales over 100 yards.  It's pretty incredible to see what your arrow is doing when it's in the air for so long.
