Me to. Finally warming up here so I got to shoot my bow yesterday. I can only shoot 20 yards at my house, but it felt great to get outside and shoot again.

my opener is March 28th. i\'ll let my brother have the first shot. hopefully we can tip over a pair that first day.
i\'m hunting four days. our limit is 3 birds for the season, at one day. just so we are clear, CAN i post up my biggest bird? can i replace my bird if i get a bigger one?

Cliff you should get a hold of Dave and take colt the knife with you. It has not been used in a while. I know you just bought a new knife but it sounds like you should have plenty of opportunities to use it. :upthumb:

yes, the boys and I cleaned up on a bunch of birds. but.... they were yearlings, nice and stupid for my not so quiet and still young boys. I haven\'t shot a tom for a good number of years. I cant hold off on the jakes too good of eating!

Trouble! Haha. Only \"jake\" come in was so young we thought it was a hen! Dark spot where the beard will be later. Can\'t gobble. But strutting and mad dogging us. He\'s as big as a chicken. Cute almost. Zero spurs

When he tries to gobble we laugh.

Silver lining: The drought - the air is so dry, my glass and slate have never sounded so amazing. They make my teeth ache when scratch on them!
