2016 Season Workout

Shot my bow, hiked 4 miles with a 40lb pack and more!!!

Ran a trail half marathon today in some of the roughest country the driftless area of NE Iowa has to offer. Probably the most enjoyable event I\'ve ever run. I had a great run and won the 50-59 age division. Over 42 miles ran this week.

In the process of building more arrows and shooting nearly every day. Time to start cooking, vacuum seal, and freeze my \"boil in bag\" meals and I\'ve got 25 lbs. of deer sticks to smoke.

So close, I can smell the sage and pines!

I absolutely killed myself.... great full body workout and 5 mile hike with a 40lb pack!
