Nebraska WT Muzzleloader TAKE II - Semi Live Hunt

Good luck, Rudy. December can be a tough time for whitetail hunting, but it seems to me that when it\'s good, it can be very, very good.

I\'ll be checking back later to see if you post a photo.
 
Very nice to meet you Rudy. Well we didn\'t come home with any deer but we had a great time. Brad and I are trying to plan one more weekend to try and seal the deal on a Nebraska whitetale.

Very hard to get deer when you are laying down and shooting pictures side ways. I\'ll bet that standing on you head shot was pretty tricky as well. Next time try concentrating on more deer hunting and less trick camera shots! :haha: :haha: :haha:

Snow and cold is the forecast.

Jarod and I are headed back out to Neb this afternoon to hopefully fill a couple tags.
Rudy texted me and said he will be pulling in late tonight and will hunt tomorrow [archery]

Should be fun & good times!

All is coming together as I have foreseen!

Pull out the stops this time ... and keep your powder dry!

A buddy of mine just took a big doe with a muzzleloader not far away ... the cold weather, he said, got them moving.
 
All settled in. Rudy should be pulling in soon.
Coffee made and ready to heat up in the morning.

Times like this I wonder what the rich people are doing ;)

I know this is a semi live hunt but there is a deer down that is pretty much dead ;)
