Besides elk hunting, I bird hunt for pheasants primarily, fish for trout and will pursue other big game as a secondary priority to elk.

Tim from Salt Lake been hunting and fishing all my life started archery 5 years ago looking foward to getting my first Elk with a bow

Joe, from Central Wyoming. Hunting for the last 10 years and have had the fortune to harvest 6 elk (3 bulls and 3 cows). I enjoy hunting with my family and friends in some of the most beautiful and challenging terrain in Wyoming. Started archery this year with a successful 15 yrd shot on a cow and am looking forward to June to see what 2013 holds.

Rose-from southwest Washington.  I was introduced to archery and bowhunting when I met my husband 9 years ago.  I have taken 2 does, one little buck, two cows, and this year took my first bull in Idaho.  I am passionate about bowhunting and look forward to the next season.  I also like turkey hunting, though I've only had success with a shot gun.

Howdy, Lyman from the eastern hills of WV and now the flatlands of North Carolina. I have just retired from 32 years as a Police Officer. I have hunted as far back as I can remember. Always had a desire to hunt the "Rocky Mountains" and be a "Mountain Man".. ::) .
Kentucky's introduction of elk, allowed me to see and expirence the Great Wapiti. It was just the next step with the help of a good friend and hunting partner to make the trip west four years ago on a DIY bowhunt in Colorado. My friend scored on a fantastic 6x6 and I had a couple missed shots. I scored on a great 6x6 with a muzzleloader this year. It's all in the planning for 2013 now...Good Luck to all of you!

John from southwest Washington.  I've been hunting deer, elk, and small game for 30 years.  Most of them with a rifle.  Friends convinced me to pick up a bow a few years back.  I've had some close calls, but I've yet to kill a bull.  Maybe 2013!

My name is Dax, and I'm from Phoenix, Arizona. I've been hunting elk, deer, javelina, turkey, and a variety of other game nearly all my life (34 years) with my father (he turns 70 this month). This is a great forum with a lot of information! I've been lurking and reading everything I can for the past few days. Keep up the good work!
