Started archery this year with a successful 15 yrd shot on a cow and am looking forward to June to see what 2013 holds.

I also like turkey hunting, though I've only had success with a shot gun.
Howdy, Lyman from the eastern hills of WV and now the flatlands of North Carolina. I have just retired from 32 years as a Police Officer. I have hunted as far back as I can remember. Always had a desire to hunt the "Rocky Mountains" and be a "Mountain Man".. : .
Kentucky's introduction of elk, allowed me to see and expirence the Great Wapiti. It was just the next step with the help of a good friend and hunting partner to make the trip west four years ago on a DIY bowhunt in Colorado. My friend scored on a fantastic 6x6 and I had a couple missed shots. I scored on a great 6x6 with a muzzleloader this year. It's all in the planning for 2013 now...Good Luck to all of you!
