A good friend of mine is heading to Papua New Guinea to bowhunt a little deer that lives along the rivers next month. Talk about logistics, makes an elk hunt look like a trip to Walmart. Fly to Aus, big boat to New Guinea, small boat and dugout canoe up the river. No season, no limit, and very likely the first white person the residents will meet. (He saw pictures from the guide and its literally \"bones in the nose\" natives.)

Flew in to NJ yesterday to see my nephew get married. Tag still good from my trip here in Nov to hunt with Dad. I\'ll be in tree with my bow tmro :upthumb: Might just get lucky! After that I still have one more lope tag for WYO, maybe a Christmas live hunt?
