8am Sunday - the pilot arrived to fly us out to the remote lake!

On the way to the lake we saw 3 bulls in the bush, not far from camp.

There are 2 in this pic, fairly easy to see from the plane with their white antlers

The flight wasnt a long one so we landed at our lake and unloaded gear

As you can see, hip boots were a piece of gear that got used everyday

Ahhh Hemmmmm.....

Colt was late for the flight and missed the plane on this trip....

Sorry, but in all the prep I did, I just overlooked Colt

BUT!
He will accompany me on my antelope hunt next weekend!

We got camp set up in a couple of hours

Took a look around the campsite and found a nearby tree a grizzly had been using for a scratching pole...

The next chore was to climb a tree and place a pulley up in a branch to hoist the food bag

The name of the lake is Blueberry Lake [no its not on a map - the pilot named it] it was loaded with blueberries!!
