Deer hunting update thread

Saw lots of does, two bucks, and lots of turkeys this weekend.


Cameras are doing ok, but the October lull mixed with the heat doesn\'t help.


Today we had our first front though! AND I FOUND A NEW TARGET BUCK :upthumb:

Like I\'ve always been told the best way to see bucks or bulls is to have a doe or cow tag in your pocket... Been there... done that... :lol: :lol:
 
Gonna head back out to Nebraska Thursday after work to give it another shot for a long weekend.
Got a couple stands in place for different winds so Im ready!

The wind is turning NW this evening here and a high pressure is coming through Thursday and Friday. It should be a good weekend. I will hunt Thursday morning and then can\'t get out till Saturday evening.

Friday starts the big run!!!!

The weather is not what I was hoping for, but the rut is going to happen no matter what.
So I will be out there and ready! :upthumb:
 
I have made up my mind to give it a try out in Neb for the 4th time this weekend.
But Im mixing it up a bit. Not leaving til sunday and hunting thru Tues if needed.
The wind and weather look PERFECT, and I wont have to deal with the weekend hunting pressure
