What did you do today to work towards your 2018 season?

Hit the gym yesterday and learned a new exercise called 'Man Makers'. The cool thing is that you can do them anywhere with just a set a dumbbells. Basically you start with the dumbbells in your hands and standing up. Go to the ground with your hands like you are going to do a burpee, but still holding the dumbbells. Kick your legs back to a plank or pushup position and once in a plank, you do a one arm row on each side followed by a pushup, then jump your legs forward to your hands, stand up and do a shoulder press with the dumbells. I did this 10 times, then 8, 6, 4, and 2 and mixed in a chest super set with it. This will get the heart rate up for sure and you end up using a bunch of different muscle groups in the process! If you want to do some cardio that isn't on a treadmill or exercise bike, give this one a shot.

what sick effer invented that?!!  :D

just what the burpee needed..to be harder.

i did day four (or was it five?) of intense mountain biking.  straight.

my legs are jello right now.  i grunt like an old dude when i get up from my desk.

oh, i'm eating correctly as well.

mostly greens and beans for my protein.

zero alcohol.  i'd like to drop some dead weight from my body so i dont have to carry it around in the mountains.

I was looking to add a little spice to my leg workout today, so I Googled and stumbled into doing a "Leg Day with Steve Weatherford (NY Giants): The Explosive Legs Workout."
- Hang Cleans
- Back Squat
- Sumo Squat
- Alternating Jump Lunge
- Single-leg Extension
- Single-leg Curl
- High Box Jump

Legs are feeling pumped!

2900 feet vertical climbed in wyo area 47. All that hiking and not a single elk track.

I think 47 was like 2% success last year. It?s my second choice for additional elk tag

Started ramping up my cardio a little more
Yesterday was back, 45 minutes of cardio, core, and abs  :upthumb:

Yesterday shot 50 arrows and weighted hike 1 mile.

Today full body weight workout. Hoping to get out and hike a place called inspiration peak this week or weekend. It is the highest elevation around here with a rise of about 500 feet....
