2016 Season Workout

Yesterday was a nice back and leg workout!
Today is chest and I\'ll probably bump my days up to 125 pushups.
 
Yesterday: Pushups. 8 sets of 33, then 4 sets of 10.

Today ... weighted pack and a walk for a half-hour. This week I put 55 pounds in. Been increasing x 5 pounds per week. (That can\'t go on forever.)

Tomorrow ... yoga

Overall, I\'m feeling reasonably fit. Elk hunting is slow-going, which fits my style just fine.

I would have to cut back to do 125 pushups... :p :haha:

I started doing daily planks yesterday. I started at 2 minutes 30 seconds. I am continuing my 300 pushups a day and trying to hike with a pack when we have a cool evening. Bumping the weight from 30lbs to 45lbs for July. I will go to 60lbs in August.

Yoga is GREAT for trying to move stealthily over blowdowns on that final approach. :upthumb:

I added Planks to my exercise. Got a little challenge going on with someone. :twisted: This will help with the motivation. :upthumb:
 
Great to see everyone tearing it up! Running is starting to consume most all my workouts.

I ran an 8K race on the 4th. Ran 8 miles the following day. Ran 5 miles of hill sprints on the trails at a nearby park last night in awful heat and humidity. Tomorrow evening is my long run of the week....17 miles. Saturday will be kickboxing class, then a group of us are going to do a burpee 1/4 mile on Sunday! :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

Dang Nick, you\'ll be able to outrun the elk by the time the season rolls around! Keep up the good work :upthumb:

(Pick up moving box, carry box into truck, pick up box, set it don in house .....repeat until wife calls it quits) remember to breath.

Lifted myself up off the floor twice with assistance since Independence Day.... :downthumb: :downthumb:
 
plenty of core and upper body workouts the last two days, getting the truck into mtn shape :upthumb: oh and rode horse tonight on a have no kids date with the wife tonight :D
