Calisthenics this morning ... yoga tomorrow.

If you\'ve never done any yoga exercises, try once a week.

Yes yoga is great for core strength and balance. It comes in handy trying to sneak stealthy over blowdowns and such.

terry, as we talked about it on Tuesday, I just shaved a bunch of weight off of my pack!

I\'m going to hide tiny pebbles in your pack :shh:

full tray of cinnamon rolls and we may have had pizza tonight too :silent:

Wait, is that bad? Am I not supposed to do that?

You\'re supposed to do it at least once a month!

terry, my pockets are pretty full as it is, so I should try to find a holster that I can attach to my shoulder strap, like what I am using now with my .40.
dan.......

Gary we better keep our packs in our tent at night and keep an eye on that Dan feller. He seems a little shady to me. :shifty:

Alright, this thread is overdue for a bump, its a new year, and elk season is coming :D
So lets get on this!

Woke up this morning and did a killer back workout. (good killer)
Then ruck tonight with a lighter pack and abs.

Life has been very good since I built my home gym. Workouts are 100x better. :train:

Yes it is much easier when you have the equipment at home. The usual push ups today and tonight P90x Leg workout.

I only did 200. I went to the chiro last night for the shoulder. I iced it like he said then a hot shower before bed. I am working on some exercises to loosen it up. I will be glad when it is better. It sucks not being able to push myself. At least I have not had back pain and numbness since I started the push ups. :)

I am going to start doing some shed hunting so I should get some hiking in. I will add a little weight to my pack to make it count. :D

Swinging the other way this morning. I\'ll have 9 days of walking hills to burn it.

Here\'s what we have going on the next 2 months at the Wellness Center here at work. I got a buddy of mine who also needs to lose a few pounds to agree to sign up. Our team name \"Who stole my feet?\" was from Paul. Well, the punk has been MIA this week so I\'ve been working out solo.

I couldn\'t cut/paste the flyer so here it is:

LOSE BIG 2016
Program Dates: January 11th - March 4th

Sign up your team of two today. Just pick a team name and let the healthy competition begin! This 8-week program will run from January 11 - March 4. Pre-assessments will start the week of January 4th including blood pressure, heart rate, BMI, and body fat %. Every week there will be a challenge to be completed by each team member for points as well as a weeekly weigh in.

Points will be awarded as follows:
Points per team if each member weighs in
Minus points if entire team does NOT weigh in
Points for each % of total body weight lost
Points for weekly daily food log recording
Points for minimum 90 minutes of cardio for the week
Points per team for challenge participation

How can I win?
Be the team with the highest points at the end
Be the top individual winner male/female with the highest percentage of body weight loss

I\'m good with everything except the daily food log. Not only is it a pain in the butt - it tracks my snacking pattern which isn\'t exactly healthy!

Hoping to drop about 10-12 pounds and 3% body fat.

Yes but just like doing a budget. When you write it down you see the facts of the problem.

Good luck. I am sure with some dedication and determination you will reach your goal. :train:

Lose it all so we can gain it back in Oklahoma. :thewave: :tease:

Chest workout, push ups, sit ups, and a nice run tonight!
I\'ll probably hike a few miles with my dogs as well. I have to prep them for shed hunting in a few weeks. :upthumb:
