2016 Season Workout

Shed hunting tomorrow and next weekend. It\'s time I start getting back into my mountain groove. :upthumb:

I cleared a trail to enter a deer stand without being detected after the leaves fall off. The deer could see me from 2 ridges when I went in the old way. I got a good workout from climbing the hill and clearing brush and downed trees. I paid for it last night. Around 8 pm my knees felt like someone ran them over with a truck. I took 800 mg of ibuprophen. One our later the pain was down a little. I felt ok today. Note to self: DO NOT USE YOUR FEET TO RAKE THE GROUND TO CLEAR BRUSH. I was sweeping sideways with my feet to rake the leaves and sticks away. I imagine that was what did it. Did a little jogging tonight and shoveling some sand.

I learned today, frost is weird.... what is an inch in one place, is a foot in others.....

yep! yesterday..... between a lp wand torch and charcoal, I got almost all of them..... what holes I did get yesterday, I set posts today. I forgot how tedious fencing is! I am sore and beat :train:

It\'ll pay off when you\'re dragging an elk this year!

Yesterday I did a shoulder workout early morning and then a bunch of dead lifts and squats when I got home.
Core, abs, and shot my bow!!!!!

This morning was a killer arm workout and I definitely need a day off now. I\'m whooped :upthumb: :train:

Some pushups and lunges today. Tonight an hour of lifting 20\"-30\" diameter oak logs onto the splitter and tossing the split stuff in a trailer.

Started a new full body workout today called The Daily Grind. It is one of Jim Stoppanis workout programs. It focuses on all muscle groups with a lot of supersets. Its going to pay off come September. My arms feel like jello as I sit here typing this. :train:

Here is a snap shot of the first day workout.
