Just curious what you typically do when you wake up to a down pour? Do you sit tight & hope it will let up, or head out & hope for the best? What are you takes on how it affects the elk?

Getting ready for this years archery hunt. Just received my SE in the mail today. Sounds like a great idea for emergencies & letting everyone back home you're ok where there is no cell coverage. Has anyone used this & if so what's your thoughts on it?

I travel from North Carolina out west to hunt elk. I've priced the large Yeti, Pelican, & Igloo coolers but those coolers run well over $1,000. For those of you who have to transport your meat long distances what do you do or use?
